Not thinking about also possible fallings regarding degree's reputation and official recognition bla-bla-bla... really. Of course it should be better if idi could 'survive', and thackara's comment about the 'merge' is a little bit 'out-of-the-chorus' in comparison to press releases ;) But at the very end of the story what it matters is how and what individually students can gain from there (for me it was a worthy experience, both from personal and a professional sides). We (all alumnis and 'last' students) should carefully investigate about at least the preservation of the 'memory' :( and the evidences (website, other stuff) to document and testify what idii was during its activity... Maybe I don't really know what is happening there but I too feel a bit melancholy about this whole thing. Some part of me is glad that I left just in time but some part still misses Ivrea.
